The Wichita Career Connections group formed in 1997 to provide out-of-work and underemployed individuals with an informal, friendly forum to gain the knowledge, skills and tools to work toward new employment.
Many of our members are considering career transitions and they want facts on new fields of interest. Everyone wants to research, action plan, network, and communicate in an encouraging environment.
The Career Coalition ministry started in 2004 with a mission to help individuals identify and utilize all the employment resources available to them. Obviously, it is not our intent to duplicate any existing resources, but rather to enhance the communication of established community structures to people who are in the career transition.
One example is TeamUp Careers. As the name indicates, everyone involved in the career transition process has to become a "TEAM" (Together Everyone Achieves More).
